Paul George and Lance Stephenson

Up until last season the only way to get Pacers autographs was in person TTMs never even came back, well now just about all of them come back.
ANY WAY
Anybody who watches the Pacers know that Paul George and Lance Stephenson are growing into perennial All-Stars and team leaders. In 2011 I went to a Pacers game I had no idea who either of them were but I things and they were signing, so I took it, they were the only ones to sign at that game.

NBA preseaon in Cincinnati

Every year Oscar Robertson brings an NBA preseason game to US Bank arena to see how big the Cincinnati NBA fan base is. Not a full house, but a good turn out. The game I got to go to was Cavs vs Magic (Kyrie Irving's rookie year). I didnt have many Cavs things so I was camped on the Magic side, I was the only one and was only there with notecards and cards for a few players (who didn't sign that night). I was able to get 2.

RedsFest

So growing up as a (above average tall) kid I played basketball every winter. A few years ago I heard about a little thing called RedsFest and wondered why I had never been, that's right, basketball. Well now I try to make it yearly. I have had many great successes here. Not even just at the event Johnny Cueto ate lunch with his family at the Tower Place food court before RedsFest. Well here's (nearly) everything I've gotten from many frustrating hours of standing in lines with people who don't even know who half the team is, and some just there to make a few quick bucks off theirs. Many thanks to my brother Frank (him and I are dominant at squeezing through crowds to jump in line and had a dominate formula for getting only who we was on the list) (also I was afraid of asking for inscriptions at first so I always asked him to to those, sorry Frank lol), my brother Harrison (who helped me get a few gems and taught me that there are lots of free handouts I didn't even know about, because he was tired of waiting in lines.), and my wife (girlfriend at the time) Christina who does it just to spend time with me.

My many meetings with Pete Rose

People always talk about how hard a Pete Rose autograph is to obtain, I guess I've gotten Lucky. Growing up when I did and he really likes kids, now that I'm older it costs, but still easy to get. (also easy to copy, all of mine but 1 are in person though)

When I was around 10 years old Pete Rose came to my neighborhood to pitch the first inning of a coach pitch game (I have absolutely no idea why) it was on the news but still not a lot of people showed up. My brother and I camped at the park all day skipping our normal summer day activities and got a gold mine of things. (not pictured a batting helmet)

Pete 87 Topps (last card as a player)

Ball (signed in Blue sharpie) and some puzzle card (Pete was a left fielder in this card)

Now that I'm older and know a bit about collecting and values of things I'm working on my 76 Topps set (see Big Red Machine post). I paid to get this one he was super nice and advised me "black ink takes a little longer to dry."

Pete Rose 76 Topps

I mailed this to His Hit Kind Inc. in Vegas. Although its not the official picture it's still a very rare gem. I wrote a nice letter and specifically asked for these inscriptions, making it even rarer and more valuable. This picture was taken after he broke Ty Cobb's all time MLB hit record. I wanted his signature, Hit King, #4192, and the date. and it actually came back as requested!!

Shaquille O'Neal

When Shaq was signed by the Celtics a local Boston News station accidentally posted his private address, so naturally I sent as many things as I could. After 3 sent cards, 2 came back signed, and the other was never seen again.

Geno Atkins

Geno Atkins is the young superstar DT that opposing teams were thankful they didn't have to face last year due to injury. Hopefully he returns as his dominant self this year, even though he is shorter than most D-Linemen. Funny thing about this signing is he kept signing over his black jersey so people were angered by that and returned their signed photo to get one easier to see, he also had them change the channel from the UC game to the Georgia bulldogs game and they were unhappy about that too.

David West

I went to a my in laws high school for a fundraiser and there happened to be a silent auction. I stumbled across this and couldn't pass it up.
David West is a AllStar Forward from XU I'm glad he is closer to home coming to the Pacers a few years back. I haven't made it to a game since he came to Indy so no in person yet, but I did just send out a card the morning before I found this.
