On 9/26 a  HOFer were signing at The Sports Gallery in West Chester. Big Red Machine 2nd Baseman Joe Morgan HOF '90 has had a lot of exciting celebrations these past few weeks with his statue dedication and all the other Big Red Machine Reunion events a few weeks ago.

This card makes me 1 closer to completing the set, leaving only Johnny Bench left to get.

In the past I tried to get Joe at the Octoberfest chicken dance and he was a jerk to me. Saying there were too many people and I was the only one looking for a signature

After the W over Green Bay yesterday the Bengals Line Radio Show for ESPN 1530 am had guest star Michael  Johnson signing. Johnson is in the last year of his contract, due to complications in negotiations he may not be back next year.

On 9/11 Xavier Paul made an autograph appearance.

Cesar Geronimo Little Reds Bat

Well my Uncle got this bat as a SGA as a kid, used it, I used it and it survived all the abuse. Its pretty beaten but still in ok shape. My Little Reds Geronimo 22" Louisville Slugger is now signed. I have never seen another bat like this one, I don't know how many still are around and if they made them for all players but that's why I got this signed because of the rarity. It's also the first bat I've ever gotten signed.

Today I got 1 step closer to completing my great 8 set. I met Dave Concepcion at The Sports Gallery in West Chester. The Great 8 are all in town because of the Joe Morgan weekend.

Eddie Taubensee through the mail

About 2 weeks ago I sent Eddie Taubensee a 1998 Kahn's Reds SGA card and today I received it and a card he included back signed.

Roger Clemens through the mail

Today I received this Roger Clemens picture back, I sent a card knowing he only mailed back pictures. Only took about a week.

Today I received Tim Birtsas 1990 Upper Deck back in the mail, it took less than a week. He was a member of the Reds 1990 World Series team, and retired after that.

Toby Alderweireld of Ajax

I am a big fan of Dutch football, I have seen Ajax in person and saw the Netherlands vs Spain in the 2010 World Cup Final from my cosuins house in the Netherlands. I received this Toby Alderweireld postcard from Ajax, it also had a team photo and a team celebration photo from their league championship win 2 years ago.

Phil Pfister and Greg Gumbel 2012 Allen and Ginter's

Allen and Ginters includes cards in their packs that aren't always star athletes, you could get a building or bridge or golfers announcers and other not so known stars. In 2012 I pulled a Greg Gumbel (a CBS announcer) and Phil Pfister (2006 World's Strongest Man). I was able to get both signed through the mail, and Phil Pfister included 2 double sided 5x7s (1 is signed).
