2015 Valvoline free Dale Jr. hat

Just like last year, I bought 5 qt. of Valvoline and there was a rebate for a free hat, only this year it wasn't just Jimmie and Dale Jr. it's all of Hendrick's race team (and you can get 4 hats 1 of each or however you want to split the 4). This year you also don't have to mail in the receipt you can photo copy it, it made this process and receiving the package MUCH FASTER!

May 16 my family went to the Reds vs Giants with some out of town family. It was Johnny Bench bobblehead night so we picked up those at the gate, and bought our son a Reds Rookies membership so we got free tickets to a game and we get to be in a pregame parade. Our family from out of town went to the Reds HOF pregame and picked up multiple Oliver bobbleheads, they really didn't know who he was so they gave them to us.

2015 Coca Cola 600 Charlotte

In May I took my family to Charlotte for my anniversary. It was a great trip! I got to attend the Coca-Cola 600, visit garages and spend lots of time with my wife and son, lots of family friendly places in NC. The race was great and my first without a rain delay, won by Carl Edwards (BOO Toyota) but he did his signature back flip and celebrated in the crowd due to no fuel left for doughnuts. I was able to find a vendor in the flea market nice enough to trade my Harvick Budweiser for a Jimmy John's championship diecast too. There weren't many free giveaways in the fan zone, but we were able to pick up a few.

I was able to visit Hendricks Motorsports twice, JR Motorsports, and Stewart Haas garage and the NASCAR HOF while out there too. I didn't get any autograph wristbands but I do not feel like I missed anything. Picked up a few souveniors not pictured a Harvick Jimmy John's shirt and circle decal, also 2 lug nuts from Stewart Haas (no driver specified), A new Dale Jr Diet Dew Shirt, A !/64 Baja Blast AllStar race diecast, and Dale Jr. lug nuts.

2015 Food City 500 Bristol Motor Speedway

For my birthday my brother took me to the Food City 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway. The race was actually on my birthday. As was the case with the race I went to at KY last year, lots of rain causing the beginning to be delayed and multiple red flags due to rain as well. It was a very exciting race and they DID get to finish after 511 laps.
We got to the track at 7am for some shopping and tailgating (which never happened due to rain). I got to explore the haulers and Chevy fan zone.my brother bought me a Dale Call, I bought a Chase Elliot 2014 Nationwide champ car, 2014 NCSC Harvick champ car (unfortunately they gave me the Budweiser when I asked for Jimmy Johns, hoping i can exchange that at Charlotte in a few weeks), I also picked up the program and event car, they were handing out some kind of Jeff Gordon Bristol memories thing as well. At the flea market venders I picked up a 1/7500 Dale Jr. mini helmet for myself. We had walked around a lot and collected as many free items as we could before the vendors all shut down around 1. I was able to get 2 chevy shirts, 7 auto trader Logano coozies, a event car from the 2nd Charlotte rasce last year (for my son to play with), a shirt from a car auction vendor, and 3 pins from past Bristol events. For my son I also picked up a Larson rookie car, a 2015 Chasde Elliot camaro, and some Harvick tshirts.
Matt Kenseth won the pole and after a LOOOONG day was able to win the race as well. (BOO Toyota).
